EYIF stormed into a period of rapid expansion after appearing as featured partners at 4YFN conference organised by the Mobile World Conference where our President and Founder Kumardev Chatterjee was a speaker. It was an incredible week for those in attendance where we worked alongside many new startups, continued our expansion of strategic partnerships and added to the high calibre of leaders and mentors who will be contributing to our activities in the future.
The week marked the beginning of discussions with industry leaders who are looking to collaborate with us in supporting the growing European startup ecosystem. We are also strengthening our links with GSMA. All of this is complemented by exciting new perspectives with one of the top 10 business schools in the world in IE Business School, Madrid. In terms of our reach, these are all fantastic developments for EYIF and we look forward to further engagement over the coming months.
However, in the midst of these new developments, our core activities have not been neglected. Our team committed to mentoring over 100 startups over the course of the week on how can they better access EU funding for scaling up their activities. In particular, our workshop on EU funding for StartUps and entrepreneurs was widely appreciated and commented.
Finally, we have added to our growing list of speakers and contributors for the upcoming UnConvention and Youth Innovation Week. Venture capitalists, mentors and a former technology editor for the Wall Street Journal in Ben Rooney have all committed to the event, as the quantity and quality of experience and knowledge becomes ever greater.
In all, it was a hugely positive week for EYIF which signals the continued growth of our operations across Europe and beyond.
