The EYIF stand received more than 400 visitors, interested in finding out more about the Grow Global Year’s activities! Among them, Catherine Stihler, Scottish Labour MEP, but also representatives of GSMA and Mobile World Congress Shanghai. The atmosphere was animated by our two volunteers, Oriol and Andy, who stayed 4 days at our booth and connected us with hundreds of people from different continents. The networking areas gave us the opportunity to meet and discuss with key players from companies such as Ericsson, Huawei and Telefónica.
Internet of things, connected cars, but also smart cities and virtual reality have been the major topics of this edition. All these will be key themes for Unconvention 2016, our flagship event, between 22-24 June, in Brussels.
For the second year in a row, we, at EYIF, are delighted to continue the partnership with GSMA and Mobile World Congress Shanghai. This event has been the cornerstone of the upcoming EYIF experience in Shanghai.
The Mobile World Congress Shanghai is going to be the central part of the Grow Global Year’s activities. We will be working with GSMA in connecting the startup ecosystem in Europe with the corporate members of GSMA in order to build bridges between these two, creating necessary synergies on the internet of things, big data, mentoring, investment and tech transfer.
The European Startup delegation, strictly selected, will join the EYIF team to attend the event, which will take place between 29th June – 1st July in one of the economic capitals of China, Shanghai.
We are preparing a great experience to the EYIF Delegation, so stay tuned, as soon we will release the steps on how you can join us on our trip to China!
