EYIF Chairman at ESHIP Summit in Kansas City, USA

Proudly announcing that our Chairman, Kumardev Chatterjee, has been to ESHIP Summit, in Kansas City, an invite-only event, organised by the prestigious Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. The foundation is a world leader when it comes to entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial ecosystem building; in short, it is THE place for the makers, the dreamers, the doers – for people with bold ideas who power the pulse of entrepreneurship.

The event is unique as it connects more than 400 entrepreneurship community leaders from all around the world, who met to share ideas, create a collaborative playbook for entrepreneurship community success, transform communities and reinvent economic development. More specifically, the Summit focused on:

  • Discovering fresh ideas: create and share lessons to build ecosystems;
  • Collaboratively define, validate and professionalize new tools;
  • Creating a tangible action plan with practical solutions.

The event also had inspiring “Firestarter” talks but most of the time was allocated to small group workshops that gave each participant to interact with a number of different people at a meaningful level. There was plenty of time for socializing and networking and a science-fair style area for each program to show off what they are working on.
