EYIF, EBN, Deloitte and DIGITALEUROPE are pleased to announce The Euromentors Association for Digital Entrepreneurs. The Euromentors initiative is supported and funded by the European Commission as part of its strategy to stimulate Digital Entrepreneurship, and managed by the European Young Innovators Forum (EYIF), European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN), Deloitte and DIGITALEUROPE. Here is how the launch went!
Euromentors will set up a pan-European mentoring ecosystem to help spark, support and expand new business ideas and fuel Digital Entrepreneurship across the continent. Euromentors will bring together Europe’s most prominent mentoring organisations and top mentors who support entrepreneurs. This initiative will connect all of those who are focused on making Europe a more entrepreneurial place thanks to mentoring activities such as face-to-face meetings, and workshops on how to start a business, raising money for your company or which mistakes to avoid in the first steps as an entrepreneur. Mentoring is a fundamental piece of any strong entrepreneurial ecosystem. It has developed enormously in recent years but much more needs to be done.
The Euromentors Association aims to join all existing efforts across Europe to increase the quality, the reach and the impact of such activities. The Association will initially be chaired the European Young Innovators Forum (EYIF) and will include in its Governing Board top European organisations such as EBN, StartUp Britain, Beta-i, Tetuan Valley, StartUp 42.
